Well, yes - that's nice, of course. But I actually was thinking mostly facially. (I'm a face first sorta girl, for both men & women.)

(And I actually think male swimmers' bodies are nicer. )

Well I certainly can't help ogling at swimmers' bodies either.

    But yeah, my bad.

His boyfriend is hotter, like a lot of swimmers are

  5. I was so happy for him!! And his relationship with his boyfriend seems adorable!! Hopefully, he shows that straight or gay, if you can play, you can play!! I just hope he doesn't have to endure too much hate though - I especially am more worried now because of that Dolphins' player's comments! :/ But I know that we all will be ready to stand up for him, so everything should be okay! Congrats Michael

I'm so glad he was drafted and hope he has a long productive career. Even more, I hope that pretty soon no one cares that he's gay, that more players feel comfortable coming out and that it all quickly becomes total a non-issue.

Heard this on Boston Sports Radio this morning... (roughly paraphrased)

I honestly don't understand why this (the kiss) would bother anyone - it doesn't make any sense. I can not logically understand what their issue is. When they show a player being drafted he's kissing his girlfriend, his Mom, whatever - of course he's going to kiss his boyfriend! So what!

:icon_bigg Didn't expect to hear that this morning.

I am optimistic that we as a society are changing for the better.
