So, what do people think of me in the skirt? And, I am looking at getting my hair cut and telling the stylist that I want it to be more androgynous...

Well, if you look at some of my other pictures, you can sorta tell how bushy it's getting in the back. And, I'm getting some split ends that need to get taken care of.

 

So uh, I'm always really self concious of how well I pass (or how badly I don't) could one of you have a look and let me know/give me some advice please?

 

I completely understand. You're super cute and with a little bit of makeup you'll totally make a hot dude. Look up "male facial contouring" and try out some things. Makeup is your friend, even if you're a dude.

 

Question, do you want to look androgynous?

 

One thing that might help you is a haircut that's longer on top and shorter on the sides. That helped me a lot. It makes your face look longer which apparently is a masculine thing.

Not sayin' you have to chop it all off though, that's just what works for me. This super neat site has a few ideas, if you scroll down near the bottom.

 

A shorter, and close-cut haircut could help, likewise facial contouring with makeup (would also recommend darkening/filling in eyebrows, which are visibly more masculine). Otherwise, you've got a fairly androgynous face

Also uploaded a new one to my 'self' album, ft. the pathetic excuse for facial hair. I only pass about 60% of the time (as male), but am curious about how I come across.

60%? I am not sure, to me it seems like it should be 100%!

 

Thanks Surprisingly(?) enough, I do get misgendered, especially on campus.. probably because I don't look like an average college-aged guy, although how many androgynous women do you see walking around with a patchy beard? :lol:

Where I live we don't use 'sir'/'ma'am' or so, so I have really no clue what strangers see me as...

 

You would have to actually tell me you are trans for me to believe you. You look so good!

You pass extremely well, especially for someone who's pre-hormones(?). I'm envious!
