After a long day in Portland-- visiting the Zoo, Voodoo Doughnuts, and the Japanese Gardens-- my boyfriend proposed. We were sitting in the rain, watching the waterfalls and fish turn about, when he asked the question. I immediately answered, "yes!" There's no ring yet, nor an official engagement, but it is enough to convey the same measure of hope and promise that an ordinary proposal would. I'm so excited, days later, and bouncing off walls even after he returned home to MI.

It is so popular that there are several lines extending from the entrance. They're silly and fun with ----'n'balls doughnuts, dirty snowballs, gay and bacon maple bars, butter fingerings, etc.
