I don't believe in any deity,so I guess I'm an atheist? I just think that believing in something like god holds you back. People should believe in themselves ( not in the way that we are gods, but in the way that we can solve our problems on our own ).
Both my grandparents are greek orthodox priests,so my family is relegious, but I have been questioning relegion since I was very young, like 4th grade or something. And then I went to college studying biology and after that I can't believe in anything without being proven.
Of course I don't say something godly doesn't exist for sure, but seems quite unlikely.

Yeah that's an important distinction. I'm a Wiccan myself and there is no evidence of Wicca before the 1920's, the religion seems to borrow from many European pagan practices and even eastern spirituality and Buddhism. There are modern shamanistic faiths that do genuinely date back to the middle ages and earlier. Witch just means a practitioner of magic, technically an athiest can be a witch. And a Wiccan might not be a witch, because not all Wiccans choose to practice magic. It's a component of the religion, but is not mandatory.

I personally find peoples various belief systems fascinating. I am personally an Atheist (raised Catholic) and don't believe in anything that can't be empirically demonstrated but nonetheless find the various supernatural beliefs people hold to be interesting. Do you personally believe that there is actually some form of real magic in the world that people are capable of utilizing/manipulating?

Not religious. I don't find them logical and frankly, after all the damage I've seen them do, I don't really like them.

Eh when it comes to most supernatural things my sort of beliefs are "There's no real proof that it exists and honestly there's a good chance it doesn't, but then there's still a chance that it's real and it doesn't hurt anything to believe in it" Like say astrology. I'll do full on astrological charts, but I'm pretty skeptical of it. I think the only thing I'm strongly inclined to believe exists are ghosts. IDK why, I guess I've just heard so many stories where skeptics will have an experience with a ghost or that someone will see a spirit in a house before being told that the house is haunted. I believe that humans sometimes leave a sort of energy imprint behind when they die.

When it comes to magic, I do feel that humans can have a sort of influence on this world, that there are energies that have yet to be observed that we can influence, but I also feel a lot of it is a mind over matter sort of thing. I feel like we have way more influence on this world than we think, and I feel that we can make change happen through these sorts of means. So in a sense I do believe in magic.

I chewed my way through a couple of religious paths, and in the end they all gave me indigestion, so now I eschew all religion and just aspire to live a good life, try to be kind and compassionate as much as I can, try to contribute to the lives of others when I can. I think that, overall, religion does more harm than good. I still practice meditation, but that doesn't require being an adherent to any particular religion; it's all about one's own mind and body, faith has nothing to do with it.

I was raised Christian Orthodox, later (in high school) identified as an atheist, and recently started to explore spirituality. Common story, I guess. I don't fit in a religion, at least not yet. In general, I believe that the human perception of the world is and will always be incomplete and objective to some extent, so there's nothing wrong in experimenting spiritually and trying alternative means to understand the world besides the physical eyes.
