Love you more cutie xoxoxo ---------- Post added 19th Feb 2014 at 10:57 PM ---------- Lol you'd be surprised
lol well she knows em better than I do. I'll let her do all the talking on that one. Unfortunately she just went to sleep. But tomorrow she'll give you some good stories I'm sure
Yea, I will soon as well. I'm just talking to a friend real quick. But I have my gf on the phone with me hehe
lol I live in an apartment with some friends. And when I'm home, my mom gives me privacy. Plus her room is far from mine
I'm satisfied, since we've been long distance before and we're always communicating. Sure, I wish he was here, but I can get by.
I wish you and your gf the best. Long distance relationships can certainly work but you will eventually want to make plans to live together ( or at least in the same area). I could not imagine doing a long distance relationship indefinitely.
I think it takes a lot of mutual trust and understanding. It's also harder work than a "regular" relationship
I'm not in one at the moment, but I had five LDR in the past. These were all online girlfriends I never actually met so at the same time I still feel like I haven't been in a relationship yet. I think I'm a bit jaded on my view of these relationships due to the stuff I had to put up with from exes, but if you meet the person in real life at least once, I can see it working out more. In a way I think LDR's are more romantic because it tests your emotional connection. You can't get physical, so there's more time to bond emotionally. I like that.
lol nope. I'm a coward hehe. Im sure i'll tell her eventually. But its complicated ---------- Post added 20th Feb 2014 at 07:17 AM ---------- Oh absolutely. We are already making plans for that haha. We definitely don't wanna be in a LDR for ever lol Thank you for your kind words ---------- Post added 20th Feb 2014 at 07:19 AM ---------- It's so much harder hehe. But when you've found the right one, it's worth it ---------- Post added 20th Feb 2014 at 07:22 AM ---------- It really is a test of trust. As previously mentioned, LDRs aren't for everyone. I think that if people are more willing to focus on an emotional connection, then it can be more likely to work out. I have met my gf twice already and I'm going to visit her this summer. So we have had a physical aspect to our relationship. Albeit not much, it definitely helps
I'm not in one at the moment but I think it can't works for me. I have a particular temper and I need my lover always near to me. I am open to have a distant relationship, but I am too much passionate to being far away for her. :icon_redf (what can I do...I'm italian )
Hahaha oh you Italians and your passion But yea, I definitely understand your point of views. It sometimes doesn't work for everyone and that's ok
I've been in a long distance relationship for nearly 6 months and I am very satisfied. My boyfriend and I have so much in common, and he's the sort of guy I've always dreamed of meeting. The fact we are on opposite ends of the country is frustrating at times, but frequent phone calls and constant texting have helped a lot. We have in mind a specific time in the summer when we will meet up, and if all goes as planned we will be moving in together by the end of the year. Some people from the outside might find it difficult to relate to -- how can I fall in love with someone I met online and have all these future plans already in the works before ever being in physical contact with them? For me it's quite simple. I've always preferred getting to know someone over the internet first. Most of my best friends over the last decade were met online first. For my boyfriend it's quite similar. We find in many ways the internet is ideal because it lets us really get to know each other on an emotional level before we are physically together. I love the fact that our "first date" will occur after we've already been in a relationship for a year. It will be fun and relaxing and there shouldn't be any awkwardness at all since we will know each other on a deep level already.
