I'm sure this is more so just an awkward male problem as opposed to just a trans one but I hate liking girls and then not being able to just ask them out like any other guy. I don't think I can take that kind of rejection.

Indecisiveness is a problem. I just hope I won't end up regretting...

Yeah, rejection doesn't discriminate. The only difference is that men are *expected* to make the first move, and since most women are afraid of rejection as well, most are content to let the guys go first, sort of as a default.

On the bright side, as the initiator, you have the power to choose who you ask out, while women pretty much have to take whatever comes their way. Sure, they can give hints and choose to associate with certain types, but that only goes so far, and not everyone catches on those signals. And from my straight female friends on another site, making the first move as a woman gives a lot of guys the wrong impression, and they lose interest.

Yeah, I think rejection is a natural thing to fear.... guess we all have to find some way to deal with it

I mean, thing is, I've always been the one to initiate. And that's actually what really frustrated me when I was "a girl"- no one ever seemed to initiate with me but when I'd finally initiate, things would get going. It's how my girlfriend and I got together- I asked her out on Deviant Art.

There's people who are good at handling rejection, just rolls right off them. Hard for me not to take shit personally. And if I get rejected, it's probably because we don't click but I'd always have to wonder if my gender had anything to do with it.

Worthless is a weird word. Worth less than whom? I guess I'm worth less than everybody.
