Ahh, I see. So basically, it's semi-permanent and factors like the quality of the work done and whether your body can still grow new hairs comes into play. It may be something I'll look into sometime in the future.
I do, on occasion. For me, my beard grows so fast that I can afford to be fickle about it. The pic I have of me was just a week and a half of being lazy to get that beard. On other guys I like them to have a bit of a beard.
Personally, I have done the 'goatee' if I can just get past the feeling like there is something crawling around my mouth. It was alright. I prefer the 'rough look' where I keep about a day's worth of growth. It's a pain to take care of because I have to run the trimmers over and over the area to make sure I don't miss any hairs that could grow longer than the others. Of course, kissing clean shaven guys... yeah, their face gets raw from kissing basically sandpaper. With other rough shaven guys, no problem. I like the rough look (work required aside) but I keep it clean because I like kissing Seeing the rough look on other guys... HOT!!
Yes, and I like homeless when I do . Please note: I am referring to the "Steorotype" homeless, I.e., raggedy patchy beards. If anyone here is homeless, please know that I do respect you.
Yeah for some reason my facial hair, if it gets past stubble stage, has a weird red/blond/brown/transluscent colour depending on what angle the light is coming from. I didn't shave for a week once to see what would happen. It was atrocious.
I know right? I was blonde/almost white-haired as a baby until I was about 2 years old, my son is completely red-haired, we've always thought this was the British side of my family (my maternal grandfather), but all I remember of his head is grey hair (and not much of it, LOL)
I got too much of a babyface and too little facial hair anyway to get away with anything. My boyfriend is kinda hilarious because before his coma he didn´t have facial hair and said he would have it permanently removed, if he got any, he hated it so much. He´s forgotten that and now he has facial hair and just these last few weeks he´s been growing something like an anchor... He went from girly to a "real guy", weird, but cute anyway.
Nah, I'm not a fan of facial hair in general. I mean, not a fan of real facial hair on men who can actually grow it. I can't even grow real facial hair, I basically get a few random patches of ugly peach fuzz that grows in and looks awful. The hairs that grow in aren't even a uniform color, some are light and some are dark. Just looks terrible. So I'm pretty much always clean-shaven. I don't mind stubble on a guy, but I certainly couldn't grow that stubble look. I have smooth boyish skin, facial hair just doesn't work for me, even if I could grow it. Now sometimes, I'll let this one patch of hair that's right at the front of my chin to grow in a little because I'll think it will complement a certain kinda look I'm going for. But I haven't done so recently, I only really went for that look back when I had long shoulder length hair, it wouldn't work with my current look anyway.
Can't stand from bumping this topic because I decided to grow a beard not so long ago too! :icon_bigg At the current moment I look like this guy and I like my new appearance, I'm going to continue :icon_bigg I like beards in general and my goal is the long and full one, smth like on these examples from StyleMann, I hope that I'll achieve this goal :icon_bigg I think that beards is nice for the most amount of men but of course not for everyone And I see no reason for being too frustrated because you can't grow a long, "proper" beard :rolle:
For a long time I didn't on purpose. It would kind of grow out and then I would shave it off. A few years ago I decided to grow a goatee. I liked the way it looked on me. I later decided to grow it all out. In the last few months or so, I have gone back and forth on it. I like the way I look with it, but I had been picking at the hair on my chin quite a bit and it started growing thin, plus I have always had a bald spot along my jawline, and combine that with the fact that patches of my beard have been changing colors in a way I don't like.
I've let it grow. I don't like when it gets long after I've been lazy keeping it maintained. I haven't clean shaved in 10 years or more because I break out like I have really bad acne. What bugs me the most is half my beard that used to be strawberry blonde is $&@/%+= gray at 34. Hahahahaha!
