So apparently J.K. Rowling is writing a screenplay for WB, and it's a movie about Newt Scamander and his adventures with the fantastic beasts. Anybody else's soul supernova-ing with excitement?

    YES!!!

THIS IS GOING TO BE THE *2ND BEST!

*The 1st Best being Harry Potter, of course.

P.s. I read somewhere that J.K. Rowling is writing an **800-Word prologue about James Potter and Sirius Black.

**I could be mistaken about the amount of words.

Ahh! Really? I loved reading the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them; now hearing that the "author" is going to be included in a movie makes me so happy =D

Yeah it is pretty awesome news! So much for JK leaving that part of her creative life behind for pastures new, though.

What makes me happiest is she's the screenwriter for it! I mean that makes it all the more epic. Likely Quidditch Through the Ages will be next if FBAWTFT goes well. I just pray maybe JUST MAYBE she'll also do a Hogwarts: A History? PWEASE JO!?

Personally, I think Harry Potter and his magical mateys should be left as they are before the series is ruined. As much as I enjoyed the 8 films and first three books, I think some things should just be left.

I am pretty on board with this statement. They are milking it a lot. It's not because it's worth doing though (although they could do an amazing job of it for all I know), it's just because they know they'll make a hell of a lot of money out of it.

I predicted this, I saw it coming, I told everyone I knew that it was going to happen, they doubted me, and now look what's happening.

I heard rumors that it's set to take place in America during the 1920s. That sounds fantastic!

I find this really odd. I mean, J.K. Rowling is rich enough to purchase England. I am just hoping she isn't going to **** it up, but I know that it will be amazing since she is writing it! <3

I don't think she'll muck it up. She has a real gift for dialogue in her work. I'm such a Potterhead, I'm just ecstatic to have more. I vote Arthur Darvill for Newt Scamander. (!)
