Greetings folks, Went dancing last night at a gay club in the Village, just because I wanted to dance... http://vimeo.com/channels/staffpicks/70453625 Enjoy the video!
Hi, Takes way too much alcohol for me to dance, once doing it I make a fool of myself. Some are graceful and express themselves beautifully on the floor. I am more like stiff cardboard in a high wind. Glad you had a good time. How do you get over the negative feeling of going to a club alone?
In North America, dancing is one of those things that (most) guys just aren't allowed to do, or it's only allowed in the most circumscribed places. It's not like that in other parts of the planet, to me, dance is ecstasy and I care not a whit who's watching! Me and Stephen Colbert...we just gotta dance! a ex-bf once told me to just dance like I wanted to seduce him standing up and forget everybody else is there... it really worked
Thanks Greatwhale, very nice video indeed. Why is it that when you hear a male with a british accent you think more highly of the content's value (or is that just me ;-)? You said you went dancing in the Village but was that the one in Toronto? (not sure if there are other cities having a neighbourhood called like that) Never been to a gay club (yet).
OK, thanks for clarifying that. I've been to Montreal several times, but for work and not even being aware that there was a Gay Village there. Maybe next time I'll visit that part too ;-) (not for dancing though, I don't want to make people in Montreal think even worse about Toronto then they already do ;-)
Is that even possible?! . LOL I think I lost 5 of my 9 lives in a single Montreal cab ride! Pressed up against a sub compacts rear window the cab driver pulled the over loaded cab in front of a speeding semi trailer truck. Never been that close to a huge, rapidly approaching truck bumper.
Yes, I heard and experienced a bit of the Montreal traffic scene. At least that part is still authentic French (excusez moi ;-).
