I know its the daily mail, but for the first time I have actually seen an article in it where I didn't feel disgusted, really happy for these two. If anyone saw them in the street nobody would have any idea. Transgender teen lovebirds pose in swimsuit shoot after both having gender reassignment surgery | Mail Online
That's adorable. I've always wondered how common straight, post-op transsexual couples were, and how they might deviate from your "typical" heterosexual relationship, thinking since both partners probably come from a better place for understanding the opposite sex, they'd have a better chance of being more egalitarian. Seriously, I could look at these pictures all day.
Yeah well just ignore the Mail readers. Its a decent article don't let the rantings of homophobes and transphobes ruin it. ---------- Post added 23rd Jul 2013 at 11:35 AM ---------- Also look at the best rated comments, some of these are really sweet
Is it sad that after reading the article, I went directly to the "worst rated" and expected worse, like death threats?
I learnt long ago to avoid comments. I have to say, though, that the mail is acting a bit out of character.
The transphobic comments were given loads of thumbs down, and the nice sweet ones had a high rating. I almost though I was reading the guardian, it was really sweet.
This is actually adorable. At first glance I wished it was less focused on them being in swimwear and generally trying to look attractive, but the article is a lot about the physical changes they underwent too, so I guess it's fitting.
I note that one of them is a minor while the other is an adult. Anyone else pick up on that? I like the photos, I hate to admit the boy is rather cute and *gasp* so is the girl? (Oh no I just had a bi moment). As for the people under Worst Rated Comments, burn them. Burn them all. I had to skip down the photos so no one around me would notice and I wouldn't be looked at as being a pedo or some shit. Seriously though, 17 and 19, does the law not forbid this?
Not to mention, if the majority of the U.S. the age limit is ignored if the difference is only a matter of 1-2 years. Anywho, they are adorable.
Wow. They're both extremely cute. I'm happy for 'em, and seeing the positive comments on the article makes me feel better.
I actually didn't get why some of the comments were rated so poorly. One comment said, "They're very cute but I didn't know people could do that. Learned something new, I guess." It got 50 downvotes. What? The interwebs confuse me.
