OK, for those of you who are currently part of a couple, or have been in the past, how did you find each other? Did you deliberately make an effort to find a partner, and have it pay off? Or did you just find each other by chance?
I've found every partner I've ever had by chance. I was never one to go actively searching for a relationship. That may change in the future but, for now, it'll happen when it happens
It's funny. I joined a dating site (rather an app) to you know, just be on and chat to people ya know to find someone to chill and hang with. Someone that I can totally be myself around. I hit up someone and we really hit it off. So it was more of by chance rather than a deliberate effort even though I joined a Gay Social Network.
Met each other the first day of high school, and we really hit it off as friends. I never knew he was gay until he told me about a year and a half/two years later and we started dating and have been together since.
Mine was an accident. I have to say that if things hadn't played out the way they did, though, it wouldn't make such a cool story, as stupid as that probably sounds.
he was a friend of a friend didnt happen straight away first met at an Elbow concert late last year .
Very true, haha. As cliched as it sounds, that one, special person will just show up when you stop trying so hard.
I'd just moved to VA and was staying with my best friend from college. She introduced me to the Internet and chat rooms. I was chatting on a gay chatroom for VA and he was also chatting. He was using an odd screen name and in asking about it, we learned we had both attended the University of AZ at different times. That drove some deeper conversation, which led to a phone call and then a date (which went really well ). And the rest was history. Todd
