I have about 10 fish and two guinea pigs (Nuts and Bounty) <3 I also kinda have a canary but it's my parents'. I'm not too fond of it because it sings really loud all day and it hurts my ears. Besides it's kind of lost its meaning, I even forgot what we named it because we have a new one every other year. We've had an orange one I named Peach, followed by yellow ones named Tweety, Locky, Lucky, and I have NO clue what I named our current one. Oh and then there's our dog that passed away last year named Buddy. <3 I'll never forget him, he was my buddy.
I a Chilean Rose Hair tarantula, a bichon frise and a red nosed pit bull. I picked tarantula on the poll though, cause I think I'm the only spider owner here. Gotta rep for the arachniphiles!
Oooh, mine is a Chile Rose as well!! This world needs more spider lovers. They are so misunderstood it's sad
Lol, that's a cute name. Mine is called Nettle because its hairs are extra spiky. It was cute when s/he (not sure of gender yet) realized I'm not trying to kill him/her and I'm actually just providing food. They grow up so fast *sniff*
..Hoo boy. This is just what I have personally. 1 cornsnake 2 african plated lizards 1 western slender glass lizard 1 golden gecko 1 cat handful of goats. The rest: 1 cockatiel various fish 3 cats 5 dogs 1 horse 25 or so chickens about 80 goats
I don't have any at the moment. I'd like a dog. I'd like a cat. I'd like one of each if they got along.
Wow, 80 goats! Do you raise them for milk, fibre or meat? I really love goat's milk and goats cheese. My aunt has about 6 goats, up in Michigan, and I'd love to keep some one day, to have a fresh supply of dairy.
Oh well done! Those spiky hairs that Rosie's throw are called urticulating hairs after the plant urtica dioica, commonly known as stinging nettle! This meets my nerdy approval!
I have multiple pets of different types. I have a chihuahua named Shooby, she's 4 years old and she is my baby. My complete and utter baby. As in, she sleeps on my bed, and I talk to her without even realising. She makes me a happier person. My also consider my dad's dog, Oscar, a tibetan spaniel, my other dog. He's 6, but still puppy-ish. He's a sweetie. I also have a cat named Meeko, and she's up in age now. She mainly just glares at me and meows for food these days. Growing up, I had tons of dogs, maybe 6 or 7. And we raised ducklets at one point. Oh, we also had a goose that we fed dog food. [..I grew up in rural country.]
I've got two cats and some fish in a backyard pond. The cats like to swipe at the fish, but the fish get out of the way fast enough. One of the cats even jumped into the pond once. He got out alright, but I think he was pissed, lol!
I live in the dorms most of the year, and they don't let students keep pets. But as soon as I'm done with school, I'm getting a cat (or two).
