Who practices ? who's a fan? What are you're favourite styles , favourite martial arts movies? or just talk about martial arts ....
I have ranks in long fist and shotokan and those currently are what i practice but i have practiced judo muay thai and tae kwan do to find what i liked. I should get my yellow belt in shotokan by the end of the month.
Bolin, i prefer bauga or tai chi to xing ya .... i. Would rather move away than into lol , but it is a good form jus difficult .
Anyone like weapons , what kind of kickboxing? I like three sectional staff and i want to pick up chain whip
Wuuuuuut, they're the 2 weapons I want to learn to Besides that I haven't took in a form of Martial Arts, I've only learnt a bit of MMA.
Shotokan karate for me. During the time I spent as a yellow belt, I made a couple interesting observations: 1) Shotokan karate seems to be built around Newton's laws of motion. 2) If a child with a blue belt and an adult with a white belt were to fight each other, the child would win five-fold.
I used to do Tae Kwon Do, but I don’t remember which exact study. I quit when it became a “game” and belts were being bought instead of earned. I was even on the Demo Team for a while.
I've always had an interest in practicing Kendo, but sadly my current work schedule doesn't allow it. The nearest group that teaches/practices is also 45 minutes away....small town life sucks sometimes >.<
I've always wanted to get into capoeira. I might actually do it in this coming year, after I get a little more physically fit. I also really want to get into staff fighting or what not.
I've got a black belt in Tae Kwon Do but I had to stop two years ago. I'm certainly going to pick it up again at some point. That or I'm going to try something else. Aikido, Capoeira, Muay Thai, kickboxing... They all sound really interesting.
Getting tested for my black belt in Chito-Ryu karate next month. Starting kickboxing in September. I totally dig the staff; it's so versatile and it can literally be pretty much anything, a rake, a shovel, a branch... Unlike stuff like daggers which you typically can't pick up at any moment.
