Any death metal fans out there? I am a fan of Death, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Autopsy, Cattle Decapitation and Cryptopsy. ... I hope I'm not alone.
Cannibal corpse, dying fetus, and suicide silence! =P=P=P Don't worry, there are PLENTY of people on here who love metal / rock. =D=D=D
You're definitely not alone! I tend to not gravitate toward bands, in death metal or any other genre, but there are certainly some songs I really love: Vital Remains - Dechristianize - YouTube Behemoth- Conquer All - YouTube The Black Dahlia Murder- What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse (Lyrics) - YouTube Fit For An Autopsy - Digging Shallow Graves - YouTube Hermh - Lord Shall Be Revealed - YouTube Skyfire - Misery's Supremacy - YouTube
Some of my favourite songs: Cryptopsy's None So Vile (the whole album) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrEWRcqQP64 Devoured By Vermin- Cannibal Corpse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJRaFEr075I Slaughterday- Autopsy (And everything they've EVER released) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaQ2buLvnEc And finally, Perennial Quest- Death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpFjZcxA11Q I have around 50 more but if I post all of them this thread should be renamed "Fluff's list of death metal songs he likes."

I'm not huge into death metal (I listen to other types mostly) but the Black Dahlia Murder definitely are up there. Yeah, yeah, I know they're more mainstream than those you're saying but I like them. None So Vile is an album my friend is pretty obsessed with. He forced me to listen to it and its not too bad. Haha. Although I'd prefer modern metal a bit more.
Yay, a death metal thread! I love Black Dahlia Murder, Cattle Decapitation, Job For a Cowboy, Nile, and Exhumed's old stuff.
i never got into death metal but i don't want to make a whole other thread for black metal. stuff like Xasthur or Wolves in the Throne Room or Deathspell Omega, that's where it's at for me... Wolves In The Throne Room- Astral Blood [HD] - YouTube edit: whoa clearly i cant do this. oh well.
I have, but its fact that he holds neo-nazi beliefs. That does it for me. He makes good music though, so at least he gives something positive back to the world.
Death metal thread needs more Death. And you can't have Death without Cynic
Most of my friends listen to death metal (an ex boyfriend of mine was a death metal drummer actually). While I enjoy it a lot, I mostly listen to music while I'm driving, and it HAS to be something I can sing along to, otherwise I get really fidgety and distracted. Death metal is not the greatest thing to sing along to... When I'm on my own (driving), I'm usually listening to more heavy or alternative metal- bands like Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, CKY, Seether, Trivium.
