I can't believe there's no thread on this already....so what are people doing for the Super Bowl, and what team do you want to win? I'm not much of a pro football guy, so I used to be ambivalent about which team won, just looking for a good football game. But with what the 49'ers players have said over the past week about gay players not being welcomed, and what Brendon Ayanbadejo (how in the world does one pronounce that? Looks like a jumble of letters to me ) has been saying, this puts me firmly in the Ravens camp. I'm going to go to a bar that I always go to and get drunk, is there any other way to do it?
Staying home, eating tacos, laughing hysterically at commercials, and watching Beyonce while wondering if the halftime show was good or not. Oh, and there's football too isn't there? Meh. It's going to be a good night.
Ugg I only watch football if I'm working conesions or if it's the Super Bowl and I'm going 4 the comershials lol but me and my freind r going 4 the 49's
My team is NEVER in the Super Bowl ever so I don't really have a preference for the 2 teams playing. Also I am the only one in my house who even understands football. And I plan to stuff my face with whatever I can eat that will not cause my stomach to act up.
Come on, Ravens! ---------- Post added 3rd Feb 2013 at 06:16 PM ---------- Gus Johnson made that Hyundai commercial awesome. Wish he was still calling NFL games.
If there is one thing stereotypically gay of me, it's complete lack of interest in football. It's still a little ironic though seeing as I was born on a Superbowl Sunday.
gg San Fran. Way to make it a great game. Hey Jim, great move sticking with Kaepernick. Experienced QBs are overrated anyway. /sarcasm
Normally I couldn't care less about 'football' or the Super Bowl...I find it to be an incredibly stupid, boring game, even compared to other sports, all of which I pretty much have no interest in. But considering all the anti-gay statements that have come from the 49ers this past week...plus the pro-gay statements from the Ravens...it's clear which side I am rooting for. Ironic that the anti-gay team is from San Francisco of all places, but hopefully Baltimore kicks their asses.
There's a lot of repeats.... But then again, I'm watching the game on my computer, so the commercials might be different.
