Secondary School: History, Legal Studies and English University: French, Constitutional Law, Contract Law
My best grades have always been in foreign languages in spite of the fact that I'm more of a science, math, and computer person. Math used to be my second highest, but then I hit upper level math courses at my university. Now it's physics.
I voted LA. Although my grammar is horrible, I exceed at spelling. Second best is Social Studies, which I find easy to understand.
Honestly, not to sound elitist.....but all....... I'm a nerd ( ._.). But my preferences went: Math> English> Science> Language> History. Math and English have always been my favorite subjects.(Which is funny because usually those who like one, hate the other.) But that doesnt mean that I put the most effort into those. I pay attention out of interest, but I often dont go out of my way to do homework/classword because I know I can get As on the tests and essays, and the classes are weighted.....
You just never know with grades. I was always the top person in my school for English, that was my thing. I did not do too well in the others because I had a hard time relating to the classes, and I always really struggled with Social Studies especially - all those dates and dead men and wars to memorize! Go figure, I now have a Ph.D. in History. That change only happened in college, when I suddenly got interesting classes that made me see that History is about PEOPLE, not about random dates. Once I focused on getting to know the people, how they lived, why they did things and how they felt, I got really good at it. Enough to get paid to finish a top degree in it, no loans or anything. Knowing how to write helped, but it was all about how it was taught to me. I try to teach it the interesting way now to help my students who come in hating History like I did!
Mine is social studies. For some reason thats the class i can remember the most information from and can easily pass my tests
umm, I pretty much got straight As throughout my educational career, but i can tell you what my favorite classes were high school - biology undergrad - abnormal psych law school - criminal procedure
I do speak a little, but I only studied Chinese for one year and am starting to lose it for lack of use.
I strive to do good in all of my subjects, but I find science to be the most enjoyable, followed by English, social studies, and then mathematics. However, despite not deriving a strong sense of enjoyment from math, I am still pretty good at it.
Through most of my school life Maths until I took Philosophy in Year 12 then it was that. For Uni life Chemistry, and I'm in a Biological Sciences course -_-
Edited the poll at request of OP : ) I got full marks in all of my A level History exams, so I guess that was my best subject at school.
Science, Art, Geography were my favorites, so naturally I did better in those. I also did ok in Maths and English though.
What is L.A and S.S? But at high school i did best in physics and religion. I also got full marks on a geog paper, it was only foundation so i only got a C but i never never been to the clas before then knew every qustion. So guess im kinda good at that
I always had A's or 89% and higher in art I never got lower then 89% and that's when I had Salmonella poisoning and was in hospital for a week! I was in advanced placement art and had a block of honors art also because I was thinking about going to Emily Carr..... But I chose not to :/
In high school, it was science, especially biology and chemistry, and english. Now in college it's english, no more science for me (boo).
