"Sailor Moon" (manga and uncensored japanese anime) - Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are a lesbian couple.

"Guitar Girl" There was one mention of same-sex feelings that I can remember.

"Skinny" The main character used to date a girl and there's a kinky love scene in the book.

 

I could recommend my book Confessions Of A Nobody 'Mistreated'

This is my first book in the biography series Confessions Of A Nobody. The book unveils important issues such as gender identity, religious morals, child abuse, corporal punishment, parental neglect and bullying; while also giving a very personal insight into living through these controversial experiences. However, the focus remains on positivity and what can be achieved when you turn your life around.

Born in a male body that lacked an Adam’s-apple I was christened with a boys’ name. From birth I always identified herself as a girl and at the early age of five I was confused by the boundaries of what was allowed by my parents. In the book I jest “when my mother made me play with an action man, I knitted him a cardigan.”

The years of abuse, self-harm and numerous dark incidents that followed this put immense pressure on me. But I lived from crisis to crisis always moving on and searching desperately for a little happiness in life.

The motivation to write these books came from a song by Tracy Chapman called Tell it like it is. The books names were inspired by a song from the artist P!nk entitled Perfect; Mistreated, Misplaced and Misunderstood in the quest to be Ms Perry.

"Something Like Summer" by Jay Bell. It's a part of the Seasons series. 4 books in total. It's a young adult book consists of love and pain on the process. You guys should try it.

I'm currently reading A Gathering Storm by Jameson Currier. It's inspired by the murder of Matthew Shepard and other hate crimes. It's about a young gay man who is a college student in the South. He's attacked by two men, and the book focuses on the attack, his time in the hospital, and the events that both led up to and result from the attack. It's good.

 

The Miseducation of Cameron Post!! Loved it, but I read it a couple years ago so who knows if I would like it now. It's about a lesbian teen

I recently found a site called WattPad. It's a site where authors can publish their stories, poetry, etc and have it seen/voted/commented on by a community. There are tons of LGBT stories on there. Some are actually quite good.

I just bought "Whipping Girl" by Julia Serano. I just saw it when I was bored in the book store and bought it on impulse knowing next to nothing about it save for what the back of the book and its Wikipedia page says, lol. But it seems interesting, so far.

 

As soon as I realized I liked girls, I spent that first week reading nearly non-stop.

I recently re-read Boy meets Boy I loved it!

 

Boyfriends with Girlfriends by Alex Sanchez.

 

I read Keeping You a Secret by Julie Anne Peters, a couple of weeks and I loved it. I also loved Openly Straight. Also, in terms of short story collections, I loved One in Every Crowd by Ivan E. Coyote.

 

I'll add two of my favorite books from 2014 to the list (both YA because that's most of what i read).
Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith, Austin tries to make sense of his love for his girlfriend and gay best friend while giant, horny, human-eating grasshoppers start taking over his town.
Everything Leads To You by Nina LaCour, a beautifully written story about two girls falling in love while helping to put together an independent movie, complete with a mystery about one of the girls' parents.
