I am so lucky to get to go to the dentist today to get a crown.... whoopie! Then it's over to mom's house to pick her up and head on over to her 83 year old sisters house. Mom wants me to tell the sister about me being gay (dam, it's just getting so easy for me to say that). She is very religious....so, we'll see. No one but mom thinks it's a good idea, I'm just doing it for her. You know, It will probably be just fine, but every time I tell someone it just drains me worrying abut it. Then there is only one other family member that I want to tell so I'm getting close to being done with all the important ones. What a journey this life has taken me through. Sure would be easier to be straight. Haha!
Good luck! Y'know, sometimes (usually on a happy day) I wonder... life for straight people must be so boring at times, huh? :rolle:
All the best Jim. I'm sure your aunt will be OK with it - especially if your mom is good with it. Let us know how it goes.
Wow! She was incredibly cool with it. Even more so than my mom. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. I am blessed! Only my nephew left.......it is getting better! Thanks for all the positive thoughts.
Glad things are going well for you. Once the ones you care about know you are gay, everyone else becomes a non-issue. Keep us posted.
