What are some things that scared you as a kid? I've got one right here...who else remembers wondering whether or not Alien Porky Pig was going to get you from under the bed? I also HATED EAS tests. Which is odd considering I deal with this exact kind of thing now in computers and ham radio: And Funzo the robot from the Simpsons...god damn if his Terminator parody skeleton didn't creep me the fuck out for nightmares to come. Google image that one, I still can't look at it. What creeped YOU out?
when i was small i got really creeped out by the beetles in the movie The Mummy that could crawl under a person's skin and eat them from the inside out
The part in Labyrinth where the Sarah is about to wish the goblins would come take Toby away and the goblins faces are all together and they're talking. I don't know why it scared me, but I found that bit terrifying. The rest of the movie, however, I loved. I would just close my eyes during that beginning part.
There's one episode of "Are You Afraid Of The Dark" about a monster that lived in a swimming pool...I was a competative swimmer, kids devision. I quit. XD
I was practically nine and I still thought this was scary... -_- I was also afraid of skeletons. There was a pick-up truck on my street that had a fake skeleton in the back, and I could never walk near it without getting scared. This was when I was like eleven... -_- I was afraid to click on this thread because I thought someone would have posted an image of a spider.
when I was little, I always thought either someone could see through my blinds and watch me sleep, or Zombie Michael Jackson for his Thriller video would come out of my tv and eat me.
When I was kid, the movie It would creep me out. Pennywise the Clown scared the crap out of me. When I was about 15, I finally worked up enough courage to watch it. I sat there going, "This guy scared me?!" haha. And I wasn't afraid of other clowns, just Pennywise.
This. All of it. So much. I also loathed bees and wasps when I was younger and would run away from them whenever I decided to venture outside for some fresh air, although I honestly don't mind them now.
They all still scare me. Except vampires. Now they're sexy (Not really). I used to pull covers up to my neck so they couldn't get to it.
Tractors used to terrify me as a kid. I had a nightmare about some skeleton driving one and it tried to run me over. Been scared of 'em ever since. Oh, and this:
THIS is the movie with the Helping Hands! I saw that brief scene on TV once and never knew what movie it was from! It's Labyrinth!
I remember there was a particular episode of Scooby Doo I found scary. I couldn't even watch it to the end, and it caused nightmares. Oh, and don't laugh, but the first time I saw Scary Movie, I was so scared. Didn't help that I didn't get the jokes. That shit was scary though. Still haven't seen it since. xD
ever since my cousin showed me the exorcist when i was 4, everytime i lay in my bed im scared that it might start shaking.
also, the scene in the original Terminator movie where the terminator has been reduced to only his metal skeleton because all the flesh burned away, and the metal skeleton gets back up and is on fire. oh wait . . . that would probably still scare me!
