I was listening to Dan Savage's podcast today, and he brought up an interesting point. Now, I'm sure we all know who Michele Bachmann is. How about her husband? He runs a reparitive therapy clinic for gay people. Very homophobic, it would seem. Most everyone I know who has heard the guy speak has said he totally pins their gaydar. I'd be floored if the guy isn't a closet nelly bottom
I had never heard either of them speak when I watched that video, so when he first started talking, I thought it was Michele talking. I mean... wow.
oh, and rick santorum, another virulently, vulgerly homophobic fundie christian has been setting off the same gaydar alarm bells for well over a decade.
I hadn't heard him speak before this. Honestly, I thought the rumors about him were a little childish and I tend to think "gaydar" is mostly made up, but.... that guy is a total closet case.

gaydar is not 100%, but marcus bachmann is the walking stereotype of a closeted gay conservative, just like santorum is.
Ermm all I can say is like I said in the other thread. Michelle Bachman is the way she is because the gurl hasn't been laid in ages, because expecting to get laid from a gay...well...yeah...
Isn't there a recording of him talking about gays where he starts off with 'they' and then halfway through it mysteriously morphs into 'we'?
