and here I thought him hitting nicolette sheriden on set, then killing her off the show as payback for her reporting it to the studio was enough reason dislike him, even if I still like 'housewives' to a point (it has been going downhill for the last few seasons.) Cant he come up with a original idea, instead of remaking a movie into a tv show? I am sure that if conservative republicans cut from the same mold as the 'Parents tv council' didnt have their heads stuck up their own butts to enjoy the smell of their own farts, they would like glee too.
I disagree about Housewives. I've been seeing it get even better. Down the Block There's a Riot was quite stupendous. I'd die if I could even guest star or be an extra on the show. I love it so much but before I EVER get the chance to become a part of Hollywood, it'll be finished, same with Glee, which saddens me. I'd kill to be on both.
Yeah, that's how we can bridge the gap between gays and people who are prejudiced against them - let's let them have their own equivalent show that is "queer-free" so they don't have to suffer the indignity of watching a boy make puppy dog eyes at another boy. Separate water fountains, anyone? Honestly? I hope this show tanks spectacularly.
Remember when a bunch of republicans came out with some loser film that was supposed to be an answer to Fahrenheit 9/11? It was some "America the Heartland" sentimental crap. It completely tanked in the theaters. I suspect this show will do the same.
Conservative Glee: Kurt gets AIDS/kicked out of home to become a prostitute. Then gets AIDS. Rachel disowns her dads. Only sings gospel songs after converting to Christianity. Quinn kills herself for getting pregnant. Finn falls into a deep depression for thinking Quinn is pregnant. Mercedes is sent to jail. Puck gets put in jail. Oh wait. I'd go on but I can tell already how cynical I'm being.
Brilliant satire. Someone should make a Youtube video with a conservative version of Glee. And... Kurt should get AIDS from sitting on a toilet seat in a bathroom at an interior design firm run by gay men, not from having sex. Gotta keep the false and fearful stereotypes alive!
Love it. And of course Sue is the sane voice of reason and compassion. The Repubs might not change a thing about her.
I enjoyed a lot of Marc Cherry's work on the later years of Golden Girls and some of Desperate Housewives, but from the premise of this show I really don't think I'm going to have any desire to see it.
I agree with this sfm. I am so sick of conservative Christians trying to make their own watered-down versions of everything.
