Saved! Yes, only one character is gay, but I like the overall message of tolerance.

Just a Question of Love - A nice cheesy love story, but with guys  (French movie)

Boy Culture - I don't necessarily like how the gay community is portrayed, but the narration more than makes up for it. It's so witty and dry that you can't help but love it.

BirdCage is the greatest gay film ever made. Never seen one like it.

I think it makes it hard to judge, since its the first gay movie I have ever watched. But sine that, it makes all other really hard to match up.

i haven't honestly seen very many gay themed movies, but shelter has gotta be like my favorite movie ever. it's pretty much my dream to find myself an adorable surfer boy so we can spend most every day doing our favorite thing together.

unfortunately i can't even watch it right now, i get so choked up and jealous lol

Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story: Love this film, Aaron Ashmore is pretty cute, and it's close to home since it was in Ontario lol.

West Side Story: Amusing tale of a Hispanic man living with his grandmother who doesn't know he's gay. He has been having a "relationship" with a successful realtor until his aunt comes into the picture. He also falls in love with the masculine neighbor of the gay couple who have moved in (i say masc cuz the other one is rather feminine) and that's I dunno if I described it well enough, but it def was amusing. I suck at summaries so just see it.

And yeah To Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar was quite good, you can find it on Youtube easily.

Brokeback Mountain, and But I'm a Cheerleader are also awesome.

Can't believe I forgot Prayers for Bobby. I love it so much. I had my mother buy me an iTunes gift card when she went to Port Huron (I'm in Canada with a Canadian Credit Card) just so I could buy it from the US iTunes store.

Happy Together (otherwise known as Chun gwong cha sit)

I forgot about this movie in an earlier post. I watched it in my Intro To Film Interpretation class last year. (AKA best class ever) It was really really really really good. Amazingly well made. It's not a happy film. It's realistic and gritty and rough, but it's so amazing.

I really really really really recommend you all watch it.
