    srsly?

why can't these people see that the more they try to repress "sexual" or "homosexual" themes at a young age, the more kids are curious x.x

while I haven't read the diaries of Anne Frank (perhaps fittingly to the topic, it was our school library that didn't carry it >.>) and thus cannot comment on exactly how explicit the book is ... .... seriously? it's like banning Spongebob for violence which makes MUCH more sense.

I know, right? Personally I don't think any book should be banned. Books are for learning, and what better way to teach the horrors of the Holocaust than an actual eyewitness account?

Furthermore, I'm not surprised if there would be homosexual hints as WE WERE BURNED TOO.

This is actually brilliant. There was a library by my house that advertised and tried to get kids to get interested in reading by saying certain book were banned. How will you get kids to read this book, ban it!

That's true, actually. My sister went to a private school, and they banned Harry Potter. So, as a responce, all the kids bought bookcovers and read Harry Potter in class. Worked just fine.

....I think all extremiest do. So they can join the same club. Same with those people that burned Harry Potter... and look how JK Rowling's been doing since then? So much publicity = more curiousity.

Unfortunately, maybe the woman in question regarding the wanted ban is afraid one of her kids is gay (ie: his or her mannerisms...) or she's ignorant and thinks being gay is contagious/a choice.

Generally speaking, banning books just means you should read them.

Well, personally I am happy they banned it. Children should never be subject to learning about the consequences intolerance and hate. Not to mention the toleration of Zionism which flies in the face of our lord Jesus Christ.

The idea that a teenage girl would write about sexual things in her diary is offensive and scary. If that teenager could have thought about sex, my teenager could think about sex too.

No, overall it is just a very inappropriate for anyone under the age of 55 to ever read. And of the people over 55, they should only be Saved Christians who take a class ahead of time so they can be prepared for the evil they are about to read.

    Have a blessed day!!!

Let's hope EC has a little bit more sense though.
