I stand behind them all... especially the bleeding performance outfit. Like, the outfit literally bled, if you didn't see the show. GaGa's arrival outfit GaGa's performance outfit GaGa's acceptance speech outfit Unfortunately, I couldn't find her eskimo outfit... She also wore these hot little numbers at some point during the night...
All were beyond stupid LOL but I think her performance outfit was the most bearable, minus the blood of course. The red one has to be by far THE dumbest outfit of the night. Really, having whatever that was over her face WHILE walking up the steps and the beginning of her acceptance speech? Either way, love her music.
I... yeah, don't exactly stand behind them. But if I get into my opinions about Gaga here I don't even want to know how many people will jump down my throat, so I'll leave it at that
The blood was key though. GaGa recreates her music videos when she performs. Like at the MuchMusic Video Awards when she performed LoveGame. She started it on a subway set because the video occurs in underground New York. Paparazzi was filled with murder and death. There was the wheel chair, the crutch, the falling chandelier (equivalent to her being pushed over the railing). The only thing her performance lacked was the murdered maids. I'm not trying to get you to like the blood... just understand it. I've had to explain it to nearly everyone.
all of GaGa's outfits were 100% pure genius and i loved them all.. lol everyone else tht was watching it couldnt believe what she was wearing but i think the all looked awesome and its the change that the music industry needs. and the only thing im questioning about her outfits is how she changed into ALL of the different outfits throughout the night, it would be so much work haha. and how the outfit bleed lol. tht was cool. but ya i loved her outfits :icon_wink
Like her or not the lady is a terrific performance artist. I love her creativity and the fact that she doesn't care about people making fun of her. I think she is just misunderstood by the general population really, and she's a breath of fresh air to the industry as well. I think the red getup was a bit confusing, but overall I liked the rest of them. Her bleeding unitard was my favorite of the evening, and her Phantom of the Opera mask with the beaded and feathered neck brace comes in a close second.
I'm afraid her outfits terrified me. I don't believe I'm gay enough to like them... The performance one bothered me because it seemed like she was trying to make you wonder where she was keeping the blood.... Also the fact she didn't have a headset bothered me... (ties up one arm from dancing. Breaks flow!) The last picture you have of her with the see through dress ish thing. With the guy in blue shirt behind her. I think that DRESS could have been better without the choice of boots. (Why boots? If they are some sort of Ugg... may she fall ill and die this very moment.) and the.... thing on her head... (What is it? Why? Drugs are bad... mmkay.) Without those two horrid choices it could have been a pretty dress. A little slutty looking but still, she has the confidence to pull of other horrid outfits, (By pull off I mean wear in public...) so she could wear a halfway somewhat decent awards show outfit.
Heck, if I wasn't allowed to wear what I like to wear, I'd be seriously pissed off. Someone like her, who wears what she likes to wear, takes the stick for it and continues to be herself, I'd be a hypocrite to not stand behind her and her wardrobe.
If she's got the courage to parade around in outfits like that, all the more power to her! I'll keep listening to her music even if she didn't have clothes-I mean those crazy clothes of course.
I don't know if she thought about all her VMA outfits that much, but this is an interesting picture~! ^.^ Btw I looooved her outfits~
