Most american TV shows require that you relocate to California (if they are filmed in Hollywood like most are), for at least the extent of filming, and for the most part, a little after, in case of reshooting.

I've never seen a TV show casting that specifically required a US resident, only those who are capable of coming into the US legally.

There were some great comedies this year, but Glee deserved the win! Modern Family would have been my second choice.

I would have been okay with "Modern Family" or "30 Rock" winning. If "The Office" would have won though, I swear it would not have been pretty. I was just so overjoyed "Glee" won, though.

So Idina Menzel HAS been confirmed to be on the show.

However, nothing has been said as to what her character will be, there's been talks of her being Rachel's biological mother, and other talks of her being Vocal Adrenaline's coach.

However, what has been mentioned is that she's hoping to get on the show as part of the regular cast. SideReel (typically reliable site) stated that she's supposedly going to be in 9 of the second of of season 1 episodes.

So I bought the first volume of Glee on dvd the other day (siiiigh, can't wait for April and new episodes) and watched the first few episodes out in my living room, and I totally got my dad into it.

And before regarding Glee he was always like, 'ewwww.'

  12. I hope she's Rachel's mom! And it would be so awesome if she got on the regular cast. I love Idina so much!

I heard Jennifer Lopez is set to guest star soon. On the radio this morning they said she's going to be playing a cafeteria lady. I don't know how true it is, as the local radio people suck at reporting information, but it got me excited.

Jane Lynch HERSELF says she will sing 2 songs in the 2nd half of season one.

Vogue in the Madonna episode, which she'll perform with Mercedes and Kurt, and Let's Get Physical, which she's apparently going to perform with Olivia Newton John

Totally trying out for Kurt's boyfriend. Haha I could totally date him in real life. I think that would really bring it to the show, if we became boyfriends in real life because then that chemistry would actually be real :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Though if I don't make it, at least I'll get to watch it on TV :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Oh and WHERE is this Rachel's mom thing coming from. Do people SERIOUSLY not remember, she was born to two dads. I mean yes, there would of had to have been a surrogate, but when have they said things about a Mom? Like....never.

Note: Just because you are a surrogate, does NOT mean you aren't their biological mother.

Whether you like it or not, everyone has a biological mother and father, regardless of where they are now. And that's the point. Nothing has been said about her biological mother, therefore, it's expected they will delve into it eventually. Idina herself said she wanted to be Rachel's mother, and the producers said that they were considering it due to the similarities (looks wise) of Idina and Lea.
