I don't like Sean Penn, I think he's a horrible actor but his reasons for boycotting him seem childish. Like, I don't boycott CNN cause I don't agree with the political commentators. I'm pretty sure he's doing it just to get attention. Bill O'Reilly usually doesn't have people paying attention to him unless he does something outrageous.
This is so stupid-he just wants attention. And the main audience of that article seems pretty ignorant too, in the comments someone said "I don't agree with the homo or lesbian lifestyle so don't push it on me you fucking libs". That's nice, but you argument holds about as much water as: "I don't agree with brown-haired people, as they have brown hair, so don't push your ' It's OKAY to have Brown hair ' agenda on me! Everyone knows the bible says that the Brown-haired lifestyle is an abomination, and if you don't dye your hair black or blonde then you're doomed to hell. That's the way it is because I said so!!" Ugh-people like that piss me off. Not worth getting upset over though.
O'Reilly has been wanting to boycott Sean Penn for a while. Its mainly because of his support of Iran and Venezuela. Penn has gone to both countries and said derogatory remarks against the US government. Penn has been pretty buddy buddy with Chavez. I do not agree with that.
I also dont agree with some of penn's actions in relation to supporting people like chavez and hussain and ahamdinnerjacket *as a few friends like to call him*. However, I do not boycott films because of a actors political beliefs. If I did that, I would have boycotting jon voight, because sometimes, he just rubs me the wrong way in how he acts like a victim because most of hollywood is liberal. Dont like people who play the victim simply because they have a unpopular belief. But I still enjoy his movies, and think he is a great actor.
This is true. and the reason for the boycotting. That is all. (I believe its rather valid too) Umm I hope you mean just about ALL news stations. I'd like to find a source of news that isn't biased, but I doubt there is a such thing.
"My sister's dating an Irishman." "Oh, really?" "No, O'Reilly." ...Becky probably won't even recognize that one. Lex
LoL that's funny although its probably a reference i'm not getting . Did you know Bill O'Reilly grew up in the town next to mine and went to the all Boys school that I didn't go to but is still run by the same Marianist Brothers? yep
all boys school? i think bill is hiding something from us. perhaps hes so scared of homos because he is in denial about his own sexuality
Nah that's the joke but its a reputable High School. Chaminade High School. I didn't go because I didn't want to go to an all boys school, plus the lighting in the gym turned me off lol. Its a freakin amazing high school, the kids who graduate from their are really smart. I doubt that though, highly, that he's a homosexual in denial.
this oreily or whatever i think hes a right wing jsut from reading a bit of this and i agree he doesent like penn over stuff like iraq people have the right to protest how the war in iraq was handled thats what democracy gives us the right to do but i suppose hes the right to his own view i just dont like people who are stuck up and high on themselves thinking theyre great. people like bono and such people you sing a bunch of MEH songs and suddenly you think you can save the world...anyway ill just ignore them all
>>>LoL that's funny although its probably a reference i'm not getting I don't recall which radio show it was back in the 40s - it may have been Jack Benny - but there was a running gag about a guy who wanted to be a comedy writer for radio. The running joke was 1. the guy only had the one joke, and 2. nobody ever got the joke. Lex
Wait...he's protesting Sean Penn because he made remarks in his acceptance speech without letting others respond? And he's winning in the poll? I'm ashamed of you, PopEater readers.
