omg this is like the sexiest things i have ever seen....And i LOVE Adam's interaction with Randy Travis, total clashing of generations and culture....but he is just like soooooo HOT LOL
I just came here to see what you guys thought. I absolutely LOVE Adam! I thought he was HOT too! LOL Somebody needed to light the fire under that woman who was with Randy Travis. I don't even think she applauded! For crying out loud, not everybody wants to be a country artist. They should of had Garth be the mentor. He's much more cool than Randy!!!
Poor johnny cash, such an iconoclastic song i felt it was pretty much destroyed by Adam. It has elements that were good but i didn't enjoy it.
Ok seriously, Adam didn't do this because he wanted to, he hates country music. But he lives to compete and so he had to do some sort of country song. I Loved this, i too love Johnny Cash's original Ring of Fire, but I LOVE Adam's style and how he made it his own, it just shows that no matter what anybody makes him do, he always follows through as Adam and merely Adam, never trying to be anyone else but himself. I just thought it was so sexy and seductive.
I honestly wanted to see him do a take on the original Ring of Fire, since it's one of my favorite songs (and I pretty much hate most country music). I think he did what he could with what he had. My thoughts? He's not going home anyway, so ... The End. I like Adam.
My imagination taking over: He was forced to sing this song by the producers. They wanted him to sing something not bad per say, but very different. They bend the results to make him get kicked off and blame it on his song "not connecting with the audience". No judge "saves" him, and the little gay boy is off the show for good. All the fox producers cheer and have a party. Just my theory, mock me now but if it comes true...
I just thought he went a little over the top with it. I like the original song, and there's quite a bit you could do with it. Cash also did a lot of covers, and people covered a lot of Cash. I also thought Randy took the whole thing in stride reasonably well. The woman next to him, not so much. There's one thing you can say, that performance wasn't forgettable. Adam's probably safe, and even if he gets voted out, I'm sure he could get a gig with someone. I'd worry if I was Alexis, Allison, or Megan
