Just thought I'd share: "Homosexuality is god's way of insuring that the truly gifted aren't burdened with children." ~Sam Austin
Queer as Folk quote: I think God appreciates it even more. Because he created you in his image. At least that's what I was always taught. And since God is love and God doesn't make mistakes, then you must be exactly the way he wants you to be. And that goes for every person, every planet, every mountain, every grain of sand, every song, every tear... and every faggot. We're all his, Emmett. He loves us all. - Ted Schmidt
This is a tad graphic, yet very poignant. "If a bullet should enter my brain, let the bullet destroy every closet door."
It'd be slighlty more epic were 'ensuring' spelled correctly Either way, I disagree. If I could change one thing, it would be that men can bear children because I really want to have babies and I would carry them myself if it was entirely possibly. Srsly... I'd carry them even if it meant losing my figure. My favorite gay quote comes from 'Will&Grace'...
"Gay PRIDE parade, it's not like gay shame festival." Michael Scott in The Office, in the hilarious episode "gay witch hunt":icon_bigg
Yeah, I loved the 'Oscar Wilde'. 'Queer as Folk' has really lasted, hasn't it? It's continually finding new audiences, too. An earlier work by writer Russel T Davies, now responsible for the major successes of the 'Dr Who' TV series' during the 'noughties'. Not bad, eh?
my friend heather (who is really awesome) said this to me once: "kayla, every girl is at least 3 shots away from being at least a little bit gay".
I could not with you more... It is wonderful to hear that someone else (a) knows English grammar and (b) wants to be a gay dad! OMG I love you!(*hug*)
My personal favorite comes from a Starbucks cup: "Our prejudices arise from the fear of that which we do not understand...."
Stephen Fry on being gay: "My first words, as I was being born... I looked up at my mother and said, 'that's the last time I'm going up one of those.'" Also I was with my friend and this 13 year boy old says: "All gay guys are pansies" and my friend whips around as fast as she can and replies: "Really?! Have YOU ever been fucked up the arse? 'Cause I imagine you'd have to be pretty tough to handle that!" It was epic.
