anyone seen any good movies lately? I just saw taken which was awesome, and on video there is a low budget movie called ghost town, its pretty good too
Taken was awesome. really really awesome. but the Original European Cut was better. its already on DVD there.
I loved Benjamin Button and Valkyrie. Milk is really good too, if you can see that. I thought Coraline was REALLY good. We don't really get a wide variety in Livermore.
oh i know, its been out for a while. I got to see the european release, they are always better. Ive never seen the international. I want to see Push (bc chris evans is in it :icon_bigg) coraline looks pretty cool too, i want to see it in 3d, ha reminds me i saw my bloody valentine in 3d, i was laughing so hard, i love those kind of movies the cheesy b horror films
havent been to the movies in over a month. but i bought Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, and its good. I liked it. If you like teen comedy mixed with a little bit of romance.
I saw Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood. I wasn't sure I would like it when I saw the previews. I thought there was going to be alot of gang violence in it but it was REALLY GOOD! It had a really strong message in it about prejudices. Go see it!
I actually don't think that Slumdog Millionaire was worth the 7 awards. Good, but not exceptional. Milk was awesome. I'd rather rent old DVDs at this point, instead of going to see new movies. I don't think there's anything that great out to be honest, lol sorry.
Slumdog Millionaire. I frikken LOVE this movie. I've seen it twice already. I should try to watch it again soon...
I saw He's Just Not That Into You on Saturday with my sister. It was pretty funny and sadly accurate.
So far all of the movies that ive seen that are nominated for best picture which are Slumdog Millionaire, The Reader, Milk, and Benjamin Button are all so excellent, though i haven't seen Frost/Nixon. Gonna be such a hard pick this year But for the not oscar nominated i am dying to see Confessions of a Shopaholic and the new Friday The 13th!!! XDDD
Haha, yeah, I think that it was bad that I found myself laughing when the old neighbor was just as crotchety as Clint Eastwood's character. I really liked this movie. I want to see Push and Benjamin Button. Also, just to add my own plug, OMG SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE!!!!!! So good.:eusa_clap
Yea i LOVED Ghost Town. I would suggest "The Baker" if you liked Ghost Town. Like, very strongly. Its quite British, but Ghost Town was kinda(ish) too? Its a British comedy about a hit-man who has to move away from the city to "disappear" for awhile, and he ends up being the baker for the small town he moves to. VERY funny, and excellent plot. A+ movie. And there is not even a really hot guy in it, so you know this is being seriously recommended
