^ I agree. I think. Love is really hard to describe...cause there's so many different kinds of love, I think. Like, I love alot of people in different ways. There's romantic love, friendship love, family love, love for something (say acting or painting). I think it's a feeling you get when you like something/someone so much you would be willing to keep it/them with you the rest of your life. But i hate it when the word 'love' is used when it's not meant. >.<
To me, love means that you will do literally anything for something/someone, even if that means giving your life for them. You cant get them out of your mind and in order to forget them, its almost like they would have to have never existed at all. Sometimes it means you will do anything to keep them as well. They throw punches, you take them. They keep you waiting, you wait as long as it takes. This is why some people perceive love as something beatiful, and some see it as something wretched.
I disagree. I love all my friends. That's very different from wanting to take a shower with them though.
So many people don't understand love. That's why Lisa Rizzo is far too good for Tila Tequila. She understands. Tila doesn't. I think if you're in love you'd give up everything to protect that person, even your life. If two people love each other, no matter how many shitty arguments they have, they'll always pull through and make up, and laugh about it later. That rose isn't just a cheesy valentine's gift - it's a symbol of affection and dedication. The value of the wedding ring is far more than money - it's everything the partner ever gave to you.
That's only one kind of love. There are at least 3. affection, friendship, erotic. Some people add a 4th, charity. There are also two species of love. Need love and gift love. An example of need love is the dog to the owner or the child to the parent. Gift love is the love of the parent to the child or the selfless lover.
>_> No more! Ahahahahahahhaa Seriously. Leave it to EC to ruin a perfectly debateable conversation. Xept it's best to avoid internet debates before someone uses a bunch of 'em big ole fancy words and such and we have our selves a HOWDOWN! YEEEHAAWW! Sorry I'm in a silly mood. As for the debate: To quote Moulin Rouge: Love is a many splendid things, love, lifts us up where we belong. All you need is love!
According to my r.e text book, the greeks had different names for different types of love. But naturally, I didn't note them down
