Indeed! One of many reasons... :dry: I've got a friend who always used to use Yahoo, and whenever I'd be talking to him, I'd have sudden blackouts where neither of us could talk to the other for some unknown reason. He's moved to MSN now, he had to (work reasons)
I think paul made a thread or in the rules of EC and not approving of making a thread just to "talk".
Check the Code of Conduct. If I remember well, posting e-mail addresses on the open forum is forbidden under Paragraph 18.

I got it right, it seems... Same applies for the chat room. Chat Room Code of Conduct, paragraph 4: "For your own safety and privacy, do not give out your personal details (email address, phone number, home address etc) in the chat room."
Levi, as other members have kindly pointed out, we don't allow email addresses to be advertised publicly. This is to protect you from unwanted people gaining access to your email (such as spam etc), along with EC not being the place for meet ups etc. If you would like to chat to other members, feel free to exchange your email addresses through PMs etc. Or you could use the chatroom
