I personally enjoy Amanda Palmer's music, she is bisexual. And her song Melody Dean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9u058Qm7Fs talks about her hooking up with a girl, then there is her song Do It Like A Rockstar https://vimeo.com/51732600 The video is NSFW as it does include some tasteful tits.

Then there is Brendan Maclean. He is a gay man and writes amazing music about some of his experiences. His song Hugs not drugs (Or Both) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDAZeB_MSRM (which is also probably NSFW as it shows some delightful arse and dude showering in briefs) Is amazing! There is plenty of queerness, sexy boys, and handsome daddies. His song Only boyfriend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3rJ1DmBHE0 is also worth a listen (or multiple) as it is a song for valentines, without the irritating straightness of most valentines songs.

Troye sivan also has great music. He is a gay male from Australia that started off with YouTube but now makes amazing music on top of it. Here is a playlist of his trilogy from Blue Neighborhood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdXNNveYOfU&list=PLvze9xxb7-zgIs9ANbid63wZdXN1jSUZc
It is beautiful and might make you cry.

Finally Against Me! last album is wonderful. There lead singer, Laura Jane Grace, is a transgender female. The album "Transgender Dysphoria Blues" talks about her struggles to have her outside match what she felt inside and a bunch of other stuff.

Troye Sivan's songs in the blue neighbourhood trilogy were so good, but the videos were really sad :frowning2:

Pickles From The Jar by Courtney Barnett. It's about all the differences between her and her girlfriend, but they still love each other.

Numbers by Courtney Barnett and Jen Cloher. It's about the age difference between them (which was also mentioned in Pickles From The Jar), and saying that doesn't mean anything.

    I believe it's considered a gay anthem.

Some sadder ones by Team Dresch:

Growing Up in Springfield, it's about not being accepted by her best friend, who she had a crush on for 2 years, after coming out.

Uncle Phranc, it's about not being accepted by her mom. Phranc is another LGBT musician.

Don't Try Suicide, it's about being afraid of what society thinks of her. Her girlfriend tries to help, but it's not working.

This song from an LGBT point of view is pretty good ... "Everything You Want" by Vertical Horizon

This song has a sort of LGBT Pride vibe to it ...

I don't know if it's been posted yet, but Jenny by studio killers is a catchy song with an LGBT theme
