As long as animals can't give consent, it will always be questionable. A similar kind of ethics would apply to a patient in a coma, the fact they can't communicate is what makes it ambiguous. Similar thing here.

I suppose you have to consider that zoophiles probably can't help their attractions (can they? I assume they can't, otherwise they wouldn't do it or want to), but having sex with a non-consenting animal will always be dodgy at best.

It may be CONSIDERED normal but, for me, it isn't, for the reasons you stated above.

 

Why would a person want to have sex with a animal? What kind of animal, also what kind of sex; gay, straight? I just don't understand why this question is being asked. My last ex who was bi, was a porn addict who would spend hours on the net looking at porn and trying to find people to have sex with would look at some nasty shit! God it is so nice to have a normal man now!!!! Anyway my ex was on my computer one day and he shut the lid real quick when I walked up on him as he was busy...... I can't see into the future.
If laws stay the way they are now, it will never be become normal as animals can't consent.

However, who knows what society will be like in a 100 or a 1000 years time. Maybe there will be a 'decline of civilisation' and stuff like bestiality will become normalised.
