That's great! I quite liked Vonnegut's 'Armageddon in Retrospect.'

I have listened to a few reviews on Pynchon's work and 'Gravity's Rainbow' and 'Mason and Dixon' seem to be very good.

Has anyone read Sally Rooney’s new book? Is it worth a read?

Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore. :hibiscus::sunflower::tulip:

It's a beautiful book, though definitely intended for those not looking for a fast-paced read. It's very much character-driven, which is wonderful--and most of the main cast is bisexual.

I haven't read it (yet) but have read a few reviews. It seems to have been well received. Rooney's Normal People and Conversations with Friends are books I would like to read beforehand.

"Klara and the Sun" by Kazuo Ishiguro. I find it really interesting. It's a science fiction novel that focuses on the topic of the human soul.

I’m just re-reading the Malory Towers series. Started by Enid Blyton who’s books were first published in the 1940s. The more recently written ones were first published after 2000 and obviously written by a different author. These books were a childhood favourite. Her books lack diversity but they are set in an upper class boarding school in the 40s, I don’t think they were all that diverse.

I just finished Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender and this book made me so happy. It's about a young Black boy from New York City who struggles with his identity and his perception of himself as a trans boy. He has never been in love in his life and he seeks to discover what love is. It has so many LGBTQIA+ representation and it made me feel so joyful.
