    Finally got the game, started a genocide run first, got screwed up by Mettaton NEO.
    At least Flowey was a fun fight.

    You're very lucky it turned into a neutral run. Without spoiling too much, you'd have probably really regretted doing a no-mercy first.

    I had a friend who almost did a no-mercy run for his first playthrough. He got to the last boss, but he reset because he couldn't beat it. That's when I made him do a pacifist run so he would have a better time (also because I was on a no-mercy run at the time and I wanted to see the characters be happy again).

    Oh boy.

    When he got to Asgore he nearly had a heart attack on the "It's a beautiful day outside" line because of his earlier experiences with a no-mercy run. I had to assure him that everything would be fine. He let out a sigh of relief when Asgore said "Perfect weather for a day of catch". In my head I was thinking "Yea, no burning in hell today. That's where I'm at." ...And I proceeded to die on another attempt at the Sans fight.

    I bought undertale on the steam sale. Not really into this type of game, I prefer FPS and strategy games, but I have to say I have enjoyed it immensely so far.

    My parent's won't refer to me with female pronouns yet (they just aren't comfortable with it) but one thing my dad does all the time these days is say stuff to me like "my child"

    I have a hard time actually being bothered by that though ... because he sounds like Toriel.
