Does being on testosterone affect the accuracy of a pregnancy test?

I am not a medical expert but I have done some research on hormones and such.

I do not think that testosterone levels affect how this other hormone is detected. Many cis women have higher levels of testosterone due to certain things like PCOS and they would have to make the tests able to be accurate despite that.

If you are testing because you have missed a period that is a side effect of taking T. The testosterone does make it more difficult to get pregnant though not impossible. Home tests are very accurate but if you still have doubts then checking with a doctor and informing the doctor that you are on T would be best. The doctor will have access to even more accurate tests and the knowledge of what might affect the tests.
