I just logged in to face the little red box by the flag with a 4 on it. Hovered and clicked on it, nada. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if there's a timer system for this feature, but I did want to point it out.
Now I'm being prompted to login each time I post here. I have no idea what's going on, but it seems like a bug. Here's what happened: - Went to post on my profile. Was asked to login. Saw that all my user information was still at the top. - Came here to post about that. Saw that I couldn't reply to the thread because I was logged out. - Logged back in (nevermind that I didn't do anything to log out) and posted on my profile. - Came back here again to post this. Was prompted to log in. - Logged out - Now I'm back in. I don't know if it will prompt again. - Yes, it did prompt again.
I find that option a little odd too. I thought if it wasn't checked I'd be logged in for a while and could do some browsing and replying but seems like it logs you out almost right away.
Yeah, when you check the stay logged in checkbox, then it should help. I had the same problem in the beginning, where I got logged out every time, but not after I keep checking the stay log in box. I also recommend to clean your cookies in your computer from time to time too.
Without checking the box, how much can you do before it says you have to log in again? Is it time based from when you log in? It almost seems unusable without checking the box.
I wasn't even afk for 2 minutes for these. I'd argue I wasn't even afk at all. It seems more connected to exiting to the main page first and then coming back or going to a different part of the site?
