    Yes usually, but only if it improves the pizza, sometimes its not needed e.g. a classic Neapolitan pizza. Adding pineapple would make the pizza experience worse in that case

    I believe those who are dismissive of the ingredient have not yet truly tried it properly paired with the right balancing ingredient and/or pie.

    These are not uncooked garden slugs we are talking about. They are warm, golden gems of tangy sweetness here to turn a boring pizza into a unique, salty-sweet experience that will satisfy everyone.

    Also, I'm a big fan of Chicago pizza. We lived near the city when I was young and Lou's used to be my family's favorite place until the Food Network ruined it for everybody.

    I had really good Hawaiian Pizza long time ago. I still remember the taste and pineapple pieces on it did look like jewels or gems. Now I'm graving for it. :sweat_smile:
