This film looks like it will be interesting. A slight twist on the typical teen person-coming-out-in-high-school story.

I cannot wait for it. The trailers look awesome, and already over halfway through the book. It is actually scheduled for release on March 16th.

Nick Robinson for the main actor? Nicely done 20th Century Fox. Although he is straight, no doubt many teenage gay guys will quite like him after his movie.

Just back from the cinema and they played the trailer. I almost had a heart attack, as I was with family who don't know my sexuality.
Definitely can't wait to see it though. A huge upgrade over the usual action/adventure garbage that I often get dragged to see.

Cute. My favorite Gay film will always be Cruising.

Chip, from your description of the new movie, I don't think I will go to see it. Will you? I think I'd look out of place sitting in the cinema hall watching this one. It's made for a younger audience. I'm also not into teen movies anyway.

BlueMonday, yes, I remember the movie Cruising. I watched it sometime in the late 1990s or early 2000s to push myself. At the time I found it daring, intense and illuminating. I found the ending interesting - how the other cops basically patted him on the back, said well done, and told him that he could take some time off. I think they really had no idea of what he had experienced internally. He then went back to life how it had been for him before - so we were led to think anyway.

My favourite so-called gay movie is still Philadelphia because of the theme, storyline, acting and music.

It's not something that would appeal to me, personally, but since it's right in one of the main demographics we serve, it looked like a well-done movie that I figured a lot of our members would appreciate. And I'll probably watch it on video when it's available there, just so I have an understanding on how they handle the issues in the movie, to know whether or not to recommend it for viewing by others.

I've never seen it. I don't have a cast iron stomach. I don't know if I have a LGBT themed film I especially liked. I know that "Mulligans" was the one with the best looking actor of all of them, so it was easy on the eyes, though not an especially noteworthy film.

From the trailer, we can't see how Blue anonymously latched onto the main character. That part might be interesting.
