How many pair of shoes (footwear) do you own?

I shall have to work it out .....

Dress shoes x 6 pair
Casual shoes x 4 pair
Casual boots x 3 pair
Walking boots x 2 pair summer, 1 x winter
Walking shoes x 3 pair
Motorbike boots 1 pair everyday riding, 2 pair off road, 1 pair long distance, 1 pair ankle town boots
Sandals x 3 pair
Trainers x 2 pair
Wellies x 3 pair

Good grief thats 32 pairs and I was going to buy some more for upcoming trip to the Canary Islands :eusa_doh:

Oh and 2 pair of New Rocks which I forgot about as I havent worn them in years :rolle:

Ooh, nine actually! Forgot my trainers (probably because I only ever wear them to the gym).

 

Like 4 pairs.
1 pair of black doc martens which is pretty much all I wear.
1 pair of turquoise high tops
1 pair of white running trainers
1 pair of black brogue oxfords

And gunsmoke - I have one bisexual friend who has like 4 pairs of doc martens alone, and plenty of heeled boots on top of that - bisexual boot obsession is probably a thing haha.

2...one pair of work boots and one pair of sneakers, I don't think this stereotype fits cause I have some straight friends who love their shoes and have maybe 8 to 10 pairs,,i don't care much about shoes aside from quality and I do mean QUALITY...my work boots are 160dollar composite toe and my sneakers are 100dollar nikes but it's about quality to me

I have 4 pairs of dress shoes, 2 pairs of running shoes, 6 pairs of casual shoes, a pair of slippers, and 4 pairs of sandals. So 17?

 

For a girl, I should be ashamed of myself...

I own exactly 8 pairs of shoes:

• - 2 pairs of winter shoes
• - 2 pairs if sandals
• - a pair of slippers
• - 2 pairs of casual shoes
• - 1 pair of running shoes

I think that's it... Also, I basically wear only one pair :lol:

I just wear the same pair of shoes everyday. I wore them for about 2 years straight but eventually they broke so I bought the same ones in a different colour and I've had them for about a year now. They're pretty much done for but I really like them.

 

One pair of cream coloured converse hightops which I've worn for three years.

Have 7 pairs of shoes in total, but currently on the lookout for another pair of black boots and maybe some high top black converse

 

More than a few, but two pairs of tennis shoes that I actually wear and one pair of dress shoes.

 

I definitely am all about quality. The only pair of the shoes I bought for myself were the doc martens and that was using my student loan like... I should not really spend that much on shoes but I don't see the point of buying awful quality clothes just to have a fuck ton that I don't even like wearing because they're made of evil plastic fibres - I wear pure wool jumpers, leather boots, cotton t-shirts etc. I avoid the plastiiiiics. I have a synthetic velvet jacket buuut silk velvet is very expensive. And other stuff that I didn't buy myself. My next plan is to get into raw denim.

 

I have like 6 pairs of shoes. I like shoes that last long.

 

The answer to the question of "How many pairs of shoes I own" is a bit hard to answer. I'd say roughly 20 pairs. The question of how many of those I wear is easier to answer, as I only wear a handful of them. Most of my shoes are too girly to my liking. I only bought them because my mom liked them :rolle: And being a woman, in South Africa, wearing a size 10, my options are quite limited regarding shoes I can find, at reasonable prices. My sneakers are men's sneakers, my boots are men's boots. My summer slippers are men's slippers, the list goes on. Basically, over half of the shoes I own, are men's shoes. But that's alright, since I'm not your typical woman anyway. The shoes I actually really like, are very butch and my mom won't let me wear them so I skip over them when buying shoes I like chunky shoes and sneakers but again, my mom won't let me wear them so I don't buy them. Parents! :rolle: :eusa_doh:

 

2...work boots and sneakers, I don't think this stereotype is accurate, i have straight friends who own lots of shoes. Personally i could care less about shoes, it's about quality to me and i do mean QUALITY lol my work boots are 170 dollar composite toed Wolverines and my sneakers are 120 dollar Nikes, I'll spend a lot because they last a long time. And yes Mith, my climate permits me to wear these shoes any day year round lol

I would say 3. And they're all Nike running shoes. The ones that I bought for Christmas were only $40 because of the holiday season! I saved about $80.

 

Uh oh, I guess I fit the stereotype. Two pairs of sneakers, two pairs of boat shoes, three pairs of boots, one pair of running shoes, one pair of racing flats, one pair of sandals, and one pair of flip flops.

So 11 and that does not include two pairs of dress shoes.
