The names George...As far as you lot are concerned anyway. I'm 15 and I live in Australia in the Capital City Canberra (think Washington D.C.; small, cold, only exists 'cos of the Gov'). I never really 'realised' when I was gay, I just always knew. It was more a question of when I accepted that I didn't find girls sexually attractive. Not to say I can't tell which bumps and grooves 'should' be grabbing my attention:icon_wink, I just don't think they're spectacular or anything. I came out about 2 years ago to my school friends, but I'm still struggling to find the right moment to come out to my mother/family. My best friend is Bi/Lesbian, she's got a girlfriend but hasn't come out to her family either. Quite a few of my friends are gay/bi/suspect as well, so I'm definitely not 'the only gay in the village'! I found this site through another 'gay-forum' and liked the look of it all. Hope to chat to you lot more soon!!!:smilewave 'George'
hey George, great to meet you, i live near DC and its kinda cool being so close to all the politicians
Cheers Guys (Of Course I mean that in the most open-gendered/orientation way possible) Can the Fed. Gov. screw D.C. over as much as ours can here? For example, the Canberra Government passed legislation last year that allowed either Civil Unions of Same-Sex marriage (can't remember) and the Federal Government was able to overturn it. Why must conservative Governments only ever be interested in screwing us the wrong way?
It gets a bit more complicated then that, in order for a law to pass, it has to be OKed by congrss, and then the president, if that fails, it has to be OKed by 3/4 of congress to overturn the veto of the president, and there's all sorts of laws regarding state laws <_< Anyways, welcome to EC George~
Konichiwa and Welcome to empty closets!! Nice to meet you and hope to see you around:smilewave:smilewave
