Favourite hobbies

I just sit down, and think, let my brain ponder my hopes and dreams, and come up with convoluted plans to achieve them.

 

One good thing about being terrible at cooking is it can get some good laughs if done at the right time. I once cooked one of the most disgusting meals imaginable for someone consisting of chicken livers, chickpeas, carrots, and celery for someone as a "treat" and got a real good laugh.

 

If you plan it just right you can pull both out of people. When I did the chicken livers and chickpeas, the guy that had to think about eating it nearly cried but everyone watching his reaction laughed historically.

I love reading fantasy books, they transport me to a different world. I also love playing the ukulele, it's so calming. It's great to be able to play my favourite songs and create my own.

 

I daydream a lot and I consider that a hobby. It’s all I ever did in school so it’s the only thing I ever got out of school. An education would have been more useful but nothing can compete with my imagination.

 

Oil painting was my sort of lockdown hobby.
Very difficult. I did two paintings. one quite good painting and one VERY BAD one
Since then my brushes have been idle

 

My biggest interests are pro wrestling and road maps. I love watching pro wrestling (old and new), I own probably 100 or so DVDs, I also like to study the history of wrestling going all the way back to the start of the 20th Century. With road maps, I like to study them, know where the roads go. I also study bus maps and routes and I like to design my own roads, highways, and bus routes.

 

I like to go on long walks. My city is an erstwhile French colony and a part of my town is maintained as a heritage site. It is sooo beautiful and calms me down.
