Well tomorrow will be the 7th day without smoking any cigarettes at all so I won't officially say quit but I'm really close!

Thanks, it's been rough as I have friends that smoke and lots off people at work smoke aslo. so I'm still having to be around it. I think it's gonna stick though.

That's fantastic. The first week is the toughest as far as the physical addiction. After that, the psychological piece kicks in. A lot of folks have used licorice sticks so they have something to hold in their hands and put in their mouth. Additionally, there are things in the licorice (if naturally flavored) that help to calm and fulfill the desire for nicotine. Keep up the good work!
