Do you believe in heaven/hell, reincarnation, or that nothing happens? What made you come to that conclusion? I'm just curious on what everyone believes. I grew up Christian, and consider myself more spiritual. I believe in a heaven, but also reincarnation.

My mother and father conceived me out of wedlock so they weren't going to make me choose whether to go baptist or catholic. When I was younger i though it was all strange. Then they got divorced. My step-father converted (from a sect of Judaism i think but I am uncertain) because of my mother and when they first got married they both went every sunday and tried to drag me. And I was not cool with that. So I didn't and got grounded and then un-grounded because it was a bit after the election because i'm the rebellious liberal 'daughter' (haha i've got news for you) and I think they might have felt bad because one voted trump and the other wrote in the guy from duck dynasty.

Long story short I'm an atheist.

I believe in an afterlife, if you define afterlife as meaning that after I die I'll be eaten by other organisms (bacteria, worms, inscects, etc.) and the nutrients in my flesh will be used to fule thier lives. Other then that no, I don't believe in heaven, hell, reincarnation, or anything like that.

I believe 100% in reincarnation. There is no way someone my age knows about the type of shit I do. I was born in the 90s, yet most of my music choices especially like with R&B and Soul music I can name you just about anything from anything present like Drake and Beyonce until the 1950s and stuff like Motown stuff like Jackie Wilson and James Brown and Aretha Franklin and Dionne Warwick and stuff.

The same with rock music. I like a lot of Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac and The Doors and I love the Beatles so much.

I'm really into a lot of classic movies and TV for no reason. Like I watch a lot of Three Stooges and Charlie Chaplin stuff and Little Rascals/Our Gang a lot of older stuff like that. Like I'm really into old westerns like Gunsmoke and Bonanza. Like what the fuck?

Which is very usual as I'm a black feminine gay man in my 20s. I just don't understand.

I think in my past life I was a white man who was really into music, maybe a music collector and into cinema and television. I don't know.

As far as heaven and hell and afterlife. I don't know. I am a Christian though, so part of me wants to believe, but I'll just be neutral for now.

I believe in a heaven more than hell. When I die I figure I'll enter a peaceful almost dream-state where I'll live in a warped reality based on my own desires and whims.

I'm not sure, but I would like to believe in reincarnation. In the universe matter and energy are never lost, merely transformed. to me reincarnation is just an extension of that.

I don't personally believe in the afterlife, I think I'll just die and be eaten by worms and become one with the natural world as my nutrients are eaten by an animal which is eaten by another animal who then poops and my nutrients return to the soil thus following the natural cycle.

I was raised Catholic. I believe in heaven and hell, but I also believe that the spirits of the dead can stay behind on Earth, whether to complete unfinished business, or watch over and/or send signs to grieving loved ones.

I don't think it exists. When we die, we just rot in the ground and have no further thoughts in my view.

I don't believe in any of it. I'm a hardline atheist and don't believe in anyone's afterlife. But people are free to believe whatever they want. Whatever helps you get through the day or gives you hope or whatever.

I believe in the possibility of the persistence of a soul after death. I don't believe in an eternal punishment, however. I tend to think of the afterlife as being mystical, so any comparison to pleasure felt on earth is invalid. Mystical union with the creator is not necessarily "happiness", it's transcendence of all human emotion, including positive ones.

If you can't demonstrate it to be true or at least likely to be true them you are not justified in believing it. Therefore any consideration of an afterlife is wishful thinking at best.

    Happy days

Studies show were still conscious for a couple of minutes after we've died.

I'm an atheist so I don"t believe in any afterlife or reincarnation heaven/hell stuff as people are made up of memories so even with the whole your body's nutrients and energy go into different stuff you still die. I just believe we only have one life and what you do in that life is all that matters... so why not live the life that you want.
