More like top 10 amirite?! I can't really single out just 5. ;_; Also, I like all the starter forms too but I don't like the evolutions of Bulbasaur and Squirtle so that's why they aren't on the list, but also because I exceeded the limit lol. Of course Pikachu would be on the list too but I went way over 5 already. :')

Bulbasaur evolution line - great great design! Color scheme is great and it works well! And battlewise, DAMN GOOD! Tanky Venusaur <3
Victreebell - Its so cute in the anime!!! And its design is great too!
Eevee - Well duh?! Everybody loves Eevee!
Haunter - The design is really good! I love that they made his hands detached to his body. And he's cute in the anime too!
Snorlax - I find him very very cute! I want to lay down on him while he's sleeping, perfect pillow/bed

 

Gloom My favorite~ Gloom and Erika's relationship was so beautiful and even though they aren't beautiful like their evolution, they are just misunderstood and have a lot to offer~ their drool is sweet nectar, they can make lovely perfumes while also being able to make horrible odors to protect themselves

Muk This pokemon is so loving and caring but they aren't beautiful so a lot of people don't like them and think they're trash T.T so sad...

Butterfree A beautiful pokemon who went through a literally hard time of being a useless Metapod for a long time, haha~ get it? hard? never mind... I also always caught one in Viridian forest because I love poisoning enemies, haha~ It's always my strategy XD;;;

Vulpix I love Vulpix~ they are such divas and are so powerful~ I even have a vulpix plushie <3 I think they're the prettiest pokemon~

Dragonair The most gorgeous pokemon and so mystical and unique~ it has so many powers and seems so otherworldy <3 Such an interesting blend, and so captivating~

 

Psyduck is my alltime favorite, I just loved him when I watched the show
Funny, but that's really the only one I fell so much in love with hahah.

 

In no particular order:

Pikachu: One of my favorites when I was younger ^^
Gloom: Because it really encapsulates my personality XD
Vulpix: Again, was one of my favorites
Snorlax: Because I was always excited when I found one in the games and got to use the Pokéflute, then catch it
And lastly, it's a tie between Mew and Mewtwo, I just think they're awesome and they have great designs.
