Zelda here as well. Not a lot of game franchises can boast that level of consistency and replay value over so many years and consoles and titles.

    Pikmin.

Granted there's only been 3 games, but still. Pikmin is responsible for some of my best gaming memories.

Zelda is great for playing over and over but for first-time experiences, I like the Kingdom Hearts series or Tales of series better. Playing the Team Ico games (Shadow of the Colossus and Ico) for the first time was amazing, too.

Probably pokemon, ive been playing the video game since i was 6 so yeah, good times. But its so much more than just a game, theres a whole community full of awesome people and you make so many memories playing the games. I cried when the credits rolled im my omega ruby game, because it showed a cool slide show of you and youre pokemon during key points in the game and i saw how much my pokemon grew and changed and it was just amazing. So yeah, pokemon for the win.

The Elder Scrolls- simply can't get enough of those games, even when I beat them I start over to see what different responses and reactions would've done to influence the minor quests.

When it comes to saga, I'd pick Mass Effect or Metal Gear Solid. They both create an excellent overarching plot that connects all the games even on the minor details that make them feel like one long thing rather than disconnected chapters like Zelda or Pokemon or any other of the long running "sagas" do.

These cutesy RPGs are just amazing. Playing any of the games in the series is soothing, calming, and kind of reminds me of messing around with a zen garden.

Kael is so so so right.

But since Fire Emblem was just mentioned, I'll say Halo. Such a good story behind such great gameplay and nice visuals. The only medium that made me read its books (I'm not huge on reading). I used to spend hours and hours just reading the Halo wiki, too. I think there's two competing ones or something now...

You are absolutely 100% correct, those games rocked my socks, I love Mass Effect and Metal Gear Solid! The characters, the writing, the atmosphere, the action, the laughs the tears, haha, god, I could marathon either of those series any day of the week (if it wasnt for the fact it takes me 50+ hours per Mass Effect game).

Assassin's Creed is a loving honourable mention because I love history and I love pseudo-history, and I love free running . Assassin's Creed 2 had best story and pacing, closely followed by Brotherhood, Black Flag gets thumbs up for adding freshness to the series.

for me it has to be, the Elder Scrolls, Castlevania, Fallout and Silent Hill.

my favorite is probably the Elder Scrolls because i absolutely love the lore and story in it. Morrowind has the best story imo, and it's still amazing to play after all these years.

Assassin's Creed is full of great ideas and creativity, but plagued by Ubisoft's greed and questionable design decisions. I've sort of lost patience for the series and Ubisoft as a whole.

    Mass Effect.

I find it most appealing Sci-fi setting. Characters, history, races and planets... everything about it is exciting.

This. I love the games even though the trilogy had the most depressing ending ever.

Mass Effect. The lore is deep, the characters are interesting, the plot is great, and humourous at the right times.

Assassin's Creed is good too. I like exploring historical settings, the protagonists are interesting, and it is fun as hell to run around stabbing people.

I love Uncharted, because the series is hilarious, Drake is relatable, and Sully is my favourite.

Metal Gear Solid, too. Snake and Big Boss are fucking badass, and the series' humour is great.

I'd've included TES, but the only game I like so far in the series is Skyrim. Or Pokémon, but it started sucking after Gen. 4, in my opinion.
