Fictional characters you wish were real?

    Is there a fictional character you wish was real? Or more than one? And for what reason? They can be from a book, video game, movie, tv show or whatever.

    I don't usually wish that, no matter how much I love a character. There's always something about them that makes me glad they're confined to their fictional worlds. With that being said, I do sort of wish Cole from Dragon Age: Asunder/Inquisition was real. Even considering that thing he did which I won't mention here. I felt a very strong connection to him the moment I started reading his character in Asunder. Some of his thoughts could have been taken right out of my old journals. And, while playing through Inquisition, he always reminded me of one of my favorite quotes.

    The world needs more of that kind of deep compassion, I think. And I think it would be nice if Cole were around to give us a bit more of that. Also I just want to be able to give him a zillion hugs (*hug*)

    I wish Ash Ketchum is real so that I can see him grow. Lol, I always wonder how Ash would look like when he's in his 20's. Too bad, he never grows up in the show

    I like when people encourage/push/inspire me to do/be better. But I really like when I want to be better, for their sake, as well as ours. To always be improving or progressing, due to and for one another, allows growth and quality. Depth is had, bonds are formed.

    Strength -- not just the physical kind -- is a major weakness of mine, when embodied in a woman.

    R (full name withdrawn), a main character of my own creation who just so happens to be exactly my type. He's my age and everything (except his story is set in the future fifteen years from now, so not really... well kind of... it's timey-wimey... anyway, he was born in the same year as I was, so he's my age.) and he is just PERFECT for me. He's clever, kind, and an absolute tonic, but he does have a flaw, providing enough conflict to keep things interesting. He fought in the third world war, saved a lot of lives and came home a hero, but he feels guilty for the lives he was forced by the war to take. That guilt probably will never leave him, even though the people he killed were cruel and evil, and he had to fight for the sake of the innocent.
    His impatience and his excitability are two other flaws of his, though minor. They aren't the only flaws, but I have yet to develop the others.
    He's the sort of man who would dive into a rushing river to save a puppy, something that he's actually done, and he is a hopeless romantic, resembling the loyal, loving puppy he saved. Some might mistake both his kindness and his romantic heart for weakness, which is a massive mistake for them, as he has the heart of a lion.
    Yeah, the character's a little rough still, but he's my type.

    Also, I'd bring Magnus Bane to life, from Mortal Instruments, and I'd also pull out Alec too, so that Magnus wouldn't get lonely..
    Because no-one likes a lonely warlock.
    He'd just be fun to be around, though I would get both him and Alec from the book, as the movie kind of sucks in comparison, in my opinion. They messed a lot up.

    Oh, and Granuelle and Atticus from the Iron Druid series, and I couldn't forget Oberon... though I'd keep him away from my female dogs.

    Anyway, I would say the entire cast of every anime ever. That would be the most chaotic universe ever. It'd be fun.
