I'm not sure if I'm procrastinating or actually have nothing to do. Either way, I feel as if there's something hanging over my head I should've done. Ah, brain, how you torment me so~

Therapy at 2. Need a haircut because this one fucking piece of hair keeps wiggling its way out of my hat and tickling my left ear. Having some coffee now. Had a cigarette a few minutes ago, and it's the perfect fall day outside. Not too cold, and the weather is just beautiful. I can't wait to wear one of my new sweaters!

 

Maybe some coffee would help me wake up...

Four days off, but I’m feeling too lazy to do anything. I’ll probably just find a good book to occupy myself with...

 

I just got a haircut, but I can't bring myself to update my profile pic/avatar because I don't think any of the pics I've taken look good enough. : /

 

Today I'm a man, and at times like these I wish I could have a stocky build. I was looking at pictures from 2007, and I had put on some weight, but I wasn't fat at all. I miss the build I had back then, but on woman days it would be harder to pass and for me to look in the mirror. This whole thing is a nightmare....

 

The service is in about a week, once we know if my dad's mom's coming from Japan.

My mom wants me to say good-bye as his daughter, since that's who he knew. Doesn't want to lose her daughter either.

He'll never get to know me as Byron. Wanted to at least say good-bye as his son.

 

That we didn't have any dogs....

 

(*hug*) I understand your mother's wish. And in the time like this, I wouldn't go against her - there will be a lot of opportunities to do that later.

I believe you should come out to your father first and then say good bye to him as his son - or live with him as his son. I am sorry it sounds probably strange. The way I feel it is to talk to him when you are ready - I know it may be just in your head, but what do we know. I don't think you are ready to do that leap right now.

If it were me, I would say good bye as his daughter, because I would need time to grieve and to make peace and to come out to him in my mind and only after that I would be able to say good bye to him as his son. (*hug*)

This soon, I would feel that my father would see me as a stranger on his own funeral.

Hard to believe I am saying this as an Atheist, but that's how I am feeling. (*hug*)

I feel like it's getting easier for me to talk to people. I don't experience as much of the panic I used to have when I even thought about speaking with people about my thoughts and feelings. It feels weird, but I kinda like it.

 

I really hate rhetoric in speeches. Ugh it is so annoying.

I'm so angry I can't express it. This is pretty much what I'll be seeing in ads every day of 2014 as the elections come closer and the referendum is pushed, and the knowledge that the referendum is a guaranteed pass and overturn the trans bill of rights will make it even worse.
