I guess, maybe I'm finally letting myself learn to feel? It was a VERY emotional movie for me. (Prayers for Bobby)

    Hi Dean-
It sounds like you are allowing yourself to feel, and that's part of being alive. Now that you are feeling, is there a possibility of allowing yourself to feel joy? Neither the sadness or joy last forever, so it's safe to feel either one.

I don't know. At this moment, I just don't know. I hope so. After so many years of feeling less than it's really fricking hard to deprogram. I guess I just have to tell myself everyday that I'm a good person.

Dean, my man! You need to search out and find a meditation groups that teaches loving kindness. I'll PM you with a link to the group I belong to.

Dean.....I think I can understand how you feel. I still can't go to "Chick Flicks" or any movies that are emotional. I've never seen "Titanic" and I won't watch TV shows that are emotional...Doctor shows, etc. I just can't completely let go of my emotions. Even after coming out six years ago, there are just some things I can't yet handle. I did make it through the movie "Latter Days" and I'm glad I did...not as emotional as some and with a great ending! Anyway...you're not alone! Maybe we'll both get through all of this someday!

You’re correct. I tried to watch, but it requires a premium subscription, which I don’t have.

I found it with a 7 day trial to the Lifetime Channel, I think. Then just canceled before the trial was up.
